Subject: [LUG] [LAW] dsp 2416 logic 5 w2k problem!
Message #114565
We have just upgraded our 1G Athlon PC with Logic Platinium 5.1.3 and it crashes as it tries to initialise the DS2416. We have reinstalled Windows 2000 and Logic from scratch, but the problem remains. Anyone had similar problems? Now the installation is set to look for the DS2416, we can't get Logic to start to change the Audio Driver settings to a SoundBlaster (until we find the problem) - how can you get Logic to start without an audio driver set - like it does on first installation? (we have uninstalled and reinstalled, but it keeps looking for the DSP Factory and crashing) Damian Meadows damianbdf@... York Street Studio Palma de Mallorca York Street Studios
