Subject: Track Mixer strip in Arrange Window
Message #7913
That would be a GREAT addition (similar in concept to - gasp - the channel overview window in Cubase, but much more compact and convenient)... I wonder why it hasn't been implemented (I can't imagine that would be a hard coding issue, but then what do I know??!??!) > -----Original Message----- > >What would > >be really great is to have the selected track in arrange show up (meters, > >sends, inserts and all) in the parameter strip at the side of the arrange > >window. > > I've been suggesting that since 1994, it's so obvious... if it's not > there > yet I'm afraid it's because of some low-level code which makes it very > difficult to implement, just like we'll never get rid of the instrument > icons... Have you tried creating a Track Mixer float window, resizing it to the size of the track, and putting the window on the side of the Arrange window where you want it? Works like a charm for me. -- Charles Simmons Singer, Songwriter, Producer Ground Zero Music Stuttgart, Germany
