given that you've already got logic5 (which half of you probably stole), there's no need for qualms right now about impressing others with your audio software setup. logic5 is so new you still probably have the shrinkwrap lying on top of your garbage can (the minority that bought it). so why be all concerned about switching over right away? because youre an insecure computer geek at heart who's more concerned about the version numbers of the programs he runs than what those programs actually do? well perhaps now might be a good time to learn how to better use the existing programs on your computer, or even how to write music! ah, emagic's spinelessness might have been all for the better (unless you own emagic products and are now feeling quite fucked).

However I have spent even more time with PC's and if I have any technical problems, I can usually fix them in minutes and be up and running again. (Don't say it, there are Mac tech issues as well) I will not use software that doesn't have any tech support and no one working on CURRENT bug fixes. Therefore, I will have to go back and spend days/weeks learning a new system either now or soon - I hate that! Kim

From: "Elvis Presley" <elvis.presley@...> > Jerk... Hi, Respectfully, other than "stole" nonsense, Jerk's output bears some sense to me. Best Regards, Krzysztof
