Does anybody know how to use the G3's Firewire-Port to show QT-Movies via a DV-Camera (with DV in/out) on a bigger TV-Screen. I heard that the DigitalOrigins DVEdit has a DV-System-Extension that enables the Mac intern FireWire-Port to do this with a QT-Movie played in any application using QT 4.0. Or are there other possibilities to avoid analog video PCI-cards like the Miro DC30+ (PCI slots are rare)? Is the FireWire-Port useless with standard MacOS8.6 software? I guess. Floe EKProduction
