Please do not moderate this, this is my valid opinion.
I have been ripped off !
I hope this goes to "class" action lawsuit in the USA.
I am now going to pursue legal actions here.

Well, I guess in America, where one can buy some hot
coffee, put it between your legs while trying to drive
and then get badly burned... and then successfully sue the place
who sold you the coffee (true story!).... I guess that litigious
place is where it could happen.

F-Szerenc, your magnificent post really draws together the parallels
between the various ways in which a human being can love and embrace
Emagic, and anti-American sentiment. Truly a marvelous paragraph,
perhaps the most brilliant ever written. If your Logic Audio
compositions sound anything like your posts, by all means hook up
your stereo on top of your roof and PLAY THEM LOUD, for you truly
are a gifted individual!

Not to take away from your point. But, the reality of the coffee story is
that
initially she didn't sue McDonalds. She merely asked them to turn the
temperature down because it was well above acceptable limits for coffee, and
against company policy (I don't know if there are legal limits to how hot
you
can heat coffee, but theirs was well above reason). Not only did they
continually ignore her plees to turn down the temp to McD rgulations she was
mocked, and humilitated by the store management. Only after a long period of
arguing (which was out of concern for safety, since the temperature was so
extreremely high and could easily cause burns when consumed) did she sue.
So the real reason for that law suite was due to managements lack of concern
for the saftey of customers.
