OK so we have some people that get good results with bounce , and some dont.......I remain doubtful, because with phase cancellation or not , I HEAR a difference. Phase cancellation is a good point though , if it really cancels out totally , you have an exact digital clone. Now : if I mix 20 stereo trax via the 8 outs of AW 8 thru my MCI to a stereo file in logic and do a bounce of the same thing, boy do I have a big difference ! The difference IMO lies in the summing accumulator ! I mean : the summing amp in the logic mixer must calculate numbers much higher than 32 bit , so it does floating point calculations, and there the stuff gets garbled.
