Already possible . . . . kind of.
Create a new Audio object track. Set the "Cha" to output 1-2 (or
whatever). If you push the record button on this track, the bounce menu
pops up. This track will now also show up on the adaptive track mixer, if
you want. Unfortunately . . . . the key command for record, which is the
asterisk key, does not function in the same way as pushing the record
button on the track itself. Still it's pretty fast and simple.
