I wrote recently of my woes with the AMT8. I am still getting hung notes etc and I believe it is because the AMT8 keeps dropping off the system. I am now starting to get Please update the Unitor family driver messages along with Error with Communication USB Interface 4 messages. It won't then let me work. I have the latest damn driver!!!!!!!!! The AMT8 is connected directly to the MAC..... I have tried both ports....diff cables.....a hub......I haven't kicked it yet, but that will be my next option!! Check if there are any other USB drivers you don't need, e.g. Logitech, Iomega etc. Do you use the cable which comes with the AMT8?
