They help to cancel out their own induced hum, but anything induced by a wacking great monitor is still going to be there with or without humbuckers. My other two guitars (Yamaha SG3000, and Jackson Model 6) are both noisy as hell next to the monitor. Your monitor is shouting 'get a load of this baby' and your guitar is quivering like a strawberry jelly, but unfortunately Logic gets the worst of it because your guitar passes the buck. Phil
