Hey Dan, I've got a Project II/882 and a new Dual G4. I haven't pushed it very hard given that my studio is in a complete disarray from all the migration crap. The one thing that you'll need to do is pay Digi ~$50 to exchange the card and upgrade it's firmware. Otherwise the card won't recognize your new machine and the Digidesign control panel will be giving you a big "Watchu talkin bout, Willis"... Also I now have to use OMS for my stupid Studio IVs as Emagic stopped supporting them natively in midi-timepiece emulation mode. And I went out and got a Keyspan SX-Pro card and everything. Ah well. Plus did I mention that I upgrade half of my patchbays and studio to balanced cables! Man, it's hard to remember when I last wrote some damn music...Aaron -- p h e n o t y p e www.phenotype.com -----Original Message----- From: Dan Chapman [mailto:dan@...] Sent: Thursday, May 02, 2002 1:02 AM To: logic-users@yahoogroups.com Subject: [LUG] [LAM] Project II card w/Logic 5 Hi, I'm anticipating a changeover from my mac 9600/G3 upgrade to my new G4800dp. I've been using Digidesign's Project II card with a Digi 882/20 interface. Does anyone here have success using this configuration with a G4 and Logic5?
