Sometimes it's just simultaneous similitude. Coincidence. Think of the film "All Of Me", when the guy (not used to modern technology) flushes the toilet - and then the phone rings. From that point forward he connects the two. f-erenc szabo, smarty pants (Tastes awful, but it works) Z+E+R+O+B+E+A+T "NOW POWERED BY THE MIRACLE OF THE TRANSISTOR!"

I don't know... Pretty spooky when you pull out the key, hear the pop, and watch the icon disappear. But hey, could have been the toilet I guess. Thanks to Josh Davison. Your solution worked like a champ. Rick King

Subject: [LUG] [LAM] Old Unitor
Message #104978
This is a reply to #104892.
OK, so I just upgraded to LAMP 5, bought a G4, and a Keyspan SX Pro PCI card which give me serial ports, thinking my old Unitor 8 would work that way. So I guess I was wrong on that one. Anyone have an idea as to how to make the U8 work, or do I just need to bite the bullet and get a new midi interface? I do use SMPTE and MTC from time to time. Open to suggestions. Thanks Rick King
