Subject: Re: Playing back 24 bit audio files in Logic
Message #7581
Well, why would 24 bit files have synch problems that 16 bit files in the same song don't? I have not had occassion to use external synch since 4.0..... Logic 3.5 used to frequently get confused about sample rate and synch source, so I got used to toggling them back and forth. But 4.0 does not seem to have this problem.... I have tried this with many combinations of 16 and 24 bit files: 16 bit files play fine. Muted 24 bit files are no problem. Several different 24-bit files gave the identical problem. New 24-bit files made by mixing (not bouncing!) pieces of 24-bit files, played back correctly on PT24. > From: Marcus <fritzsch@...> > Reply-To: logic-users@onelist.com > Date: Tue, 16 Nov 1999 06:08:56 +0100 > To: logic-users@onelist.com > Subject: Re: [LUG] Playing back 24 bit audio files in Logic > > Hi Eric, > > I think this sounds more like a clocking problem.
