Hi Tim,
I designed desks in the 80's that compensated for maintaining constant
loudness. It would be good if this was available for Audio in Logic. It
probably has to be an option as there will be others who insist on keeping
it as it is. I can imagine it is harder to do for Midi as you need to
generate the volume change at the same time as the pan change and keep track
of the volume set point.

hi guys
i just did a test sending a track to my mackie 8bus and panned
it back and forth and then used the pan in logic and it seemed like the pan
in logic seems to get a bit louder in the center position than the mackie.
it wasnt a big difference though and still think the panning in logic sounds
good.
is what you guys are talking about?
is this somthing that will keep you from using logic to mix?
just curious.
