Subject: [LAM] application support
Message #101948
Hi, Recently, when I've used Norton Utilities,I've had a message saying I have 2 files with errors that Norton can't fix,as they have a period (.) before the file name. They are the files .db and .idx in the Logic Audio, folder in application support, in my system folder. Any ideas why this has just started showing? Should I ignore it? bin them? reinstall Logic? wait and see? I'm using Logic 4.8.1 on OS 9.0.4 TIA Paul

Markus said to Trash them. What about these (in the same folder): LogicPlatinumGraphic.db LogicPlatinumGraphic.idx Graphic.db I have newer files called LogicPlatinumGraphic2.db LogicPlatinumGraphic2.idx Also Jonathan Christensen wrote: > As you probably know, a file that starts with >a period is a no no in Mac land. Are you sure you can generalise like that? Doesn't OSX install some files that start with a period? Regards - Colin
