Subject: LAW: Flawless Computer/Audio Setups?
Message #101893
I know this is a HUGE question. But I've been with LAW since 2.0 -- and I love it. But I've been having a lot of "ASIO Overload" errors while working on a 14 track song. I'm ready to "pay the price" to upgrade to computer, hardware, and whatever else I need to do to get a FLAWLESS LAW audio setup that runs AWESOME at least most of the time. So I would like to hear the types of chips (ie Intel 1.2), memory, hard drives, motherboards, and audio hardware and drivers are working to get LAW 4.x to record 24 tracks with no glitches. What mode do you run in... ASIO, EASI, PCAV? How do you get next to zero latency? What plugins? What kind of computer settings are optimum? And if this question is already answered somewhere else, please direct me to it. Thanks! Brian Keith Voiles
