Hello,
I currently have Logic 4.8 (?) and wanted to ask:
Does LAW 4.x run on Windows XP Pro or Home?
Thanks,
Brian

I'm using Logic 5 on WinXP pro and Win98 and some small things, like the
opening samples in EXS24, work better in XP. But that may not be the case
with 4.8, but I guess you will upgrade any day ;-D
Best wishes

Hi,
I'm using LAMP 4.
When I try to either convert and Audio object to an Input object, or create
an Input object from scratch, I get nothing but a rectangle the size of an
Audio object with no graphics. The object states the Input channel, but it
doesn't show me a fader, sends, etc.
The parameter box on the left has EQ, Inserts, etc., checked off.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Adam

I ran into this the other day trying to figure out how to get my two
sound cards to work as I wanted (I want my Audiowerk2 to do all the
thinking and I want to use a SoundBlaster just to monitor from, only
until I finish saving my pennies for a HammerfallDSP+Digiface)...
-Anyway- if you don't have a sound card selected for an Object it
turns into that grey panel like that with no volume fader etc. Over
on the left in the parameter box by the checkmarks for EQ etc there
will be a couple letters listed to signify which sound card driver
that Object uses. E.g. my Audiowerk2 shows up as "AW", PC/AV EASI
drivers etc show up as "PC" I believe, there are a few other
choices
for Digi stuff etc... Make sure you have a functional driver selected
and the grey block should turn into what you want.
P.S. - if anyone wants to help me with setting up my two sounds cards
like I wanted (I still can't get Logic to act quite like I want it:()
please check out my previous two posts which still remain
unanswered :-(

I upgraded to 4.8.1 and the Input objects work now.
