Subject: LAMP - Help XSKey
Message #101832
Help! For some reason my XSKey has completely stopped working today. Nothing has changed about my configuration. Yesterday I was using 5.1 with LC for 5 hours no problems. Today I couldn't reboot my G4 Dual 1 Ghz. Removing the XSKey it boots fine. Plugging the XSKey into the Keyboard when booted I get an alert The USB device "various messages depending on which USB" cannot operate because it needs more power than is available. The system then hangs and I have to unplug the Keyboard (or Hub) to get back control. I have also tried the key in an older G4-350 AGP and again Logic 5.1 cannot see the key Please tell me that my XSKey hasn't gone bad. I have an engineering session booked for 10.00 AM tomorrow to finalise a friends single. There's no way I can get to a dealer to pick-up a replacement before then as I live 60 miles from London. I'm so depressed. Does anyone have any other suggestions that I might try? Thanks, Stuart.

I got a similar error from my USB scanner which turned out to be that my USB hub wasn't receiving any power so if you're on hub do check that out. Cheers -- Check out the web page for my band: Now solo works also: New home address : http://koti.welho.com/jpennane
