See the user manual's appendix; here you find an overview which button does what. >or leave alert windows or anything else. > is anyone having this problem? The Cancel button leaves alert dialogs if there is a Cancel or Abort button in the alert. It does not leave * non-modal dialogs * file select dialogs -- Beste Gruesse - best regards, Michael Haydn EMAGIC Soft- und Hardware GmbH SoundDiver Group Executive Logic Developer (Logic Control integration) Unitor8 Control Project Manager

Oops. This is outdated, and we forgot to remove it. Cancel now does the following: * if there is a flashing selection, it is cancelled * if the Arrange window is in a folder, it is left (going to parent folder) * if there is an alert open, the Cancel button is clicked > > The Cancel button leaves alert dialogs if there is a Cancel or Abort > > button in the alert. > >it leaves the dialog box there or does it close it? Yes, but again only in modal alerts, not in file select dialogs or nonmodal dialogs. -- Beste Gruesse - best regards, Michael Haydn EMAGIC Soft- und Hardware GmbH SoundDiver Group Executive Logic Developer (Logic Control integration) Unitor8 Control Project Manager
