i'm trying to get absynth to work with logic but having no luck. i'm using a midiman oxygen 8 usb controller which works fine with absynth outside logic but i can't work out how to combine them both. it also works on other VST instruments in logic but i can't get the general midi sounds to play out. i know it's something simple like myself :) any advice for a novice??

Try launching the Absynth Engine before you launch Logic. BTW; Be sure you've placed the Absynth VST document in the Logic VST Plugins folder, assign an audio track to an Instrument number, and instantiate Absynth in the first insert on that assigned audio track in the Mixer window. Now, when that track is selected, your Oxygen input should address Absynth. Also, there is no General MIDI bank included with Absynth. Hope this helps, Hal
