Cubase is apparantly already on the way. The PC version of Cubase SX is "scheduled" for sometime in the 2nd quarter of this year . . . the Mac OSX version is "scheduled" to be released "sometime" after that. That could mean 1 month, 3 months or 6 months . . . who knows?. I hardly consider that "already on the way". Take your time Emagic. Take all the time you need. best, Jon --config-- Apple Dual 800 G4, 1.5 gigs ram, Mac OS 9.2.2, RME Hammerfall DSP, MOTU 2408, MOTU MTP AV (USB), OMS 2.3.8, Spirit 328 Digital Mixer/Controller, Apogee Converters (WC Master), ATI Radeon AGP, ATI Rage 128 (second monitor).

I repeatedly heared that there are some problems with OS X itself (Core Audio), which seems to make the development quite hard, especially for audio drivers. Lets ho0pe 10.2 (whenever it comes) will be better. Even if I would prefer to have Logic on OS X tomorrow than at any other date, I completely agree with Jon: LAM X will be there if it's finished. Remeber 5.0: it took very long, but it was a very good and stable release for a x.0 version. I guess we all want to have it like this on OS X, even if a restart won't required there after a crash ;-) Best Ray

Well, I have been hearing for a long time about Audio Software for OS X from them big companys like Steinberg, Emagic, etc. But them only one I've found that actually looks close is Bias. Deck is supposed to be released soon and from whats on their website it looks pretty good. http://www.bias-inc.com

I tried the Peak demo and it runs beautifully. Evan
