Quite true - it would be much much easier to implement something like that
if it could be done equally on both platforms.
In regards to the 16x16 icons, most of the ones I've seen used in Windows
apps appear pretty clearly, but then again they are representing pretty
generic things (a big 'A' icon for 'font', for example). I'm not sure how to
visually represent Logic's various window types with such a small
detail-less icon - the mixer would probably be pretty easy, but how to you
represent the Environment at 16x16?!?!?
Oh well. It was a thought. I do think the bold type would work fine; in the
end, there definitely needs to be some indication of the window type. What
it is exactly is up to the programming gurus, I guess!!!!
