The midi track contains info about when a note goes on at what pitch and what volune , velocity, and when it goes off You have to send that to the input of a midi device which can generate sound ( midi out of the midi device of your computer, to midi in of the midi device. The audio output you have to plug in to the input of your audio card to be able to record it .. whitout that you have not yet generated the sound to record ... regards frank
