A while back I made a mockup mixer GUI out of the basic elements of the
audio objects we already have just to seen how easy it would be to make it
fit on the screen better. Without trying very hard I could make 28 fit
accross a 6.2cm section of my 21inch monitor and still have a way show pop
up buttons for five effects and five sends as well as all the other
currently accessable parameters on each object (except EQs). Then being
the obnoxious obsessive maniac I am I sent it to e-magic. They never
commented. It would not have been hard to make them even more efficient
but I am only willing to wast so much time. If anyone is interested how a
logic mixer might look in an alternate universe where e-magic decided to
stop wasting screen space. I put a link to the graphic on my page.
BTW the midi quicktime movie you hear when my page boots sounds nothing
like my band but I had fun making it. Quicktime actually has a lot more
potential than I think most people are getting out of it. But then again
what doesn't?
