But this is exactly what Spectral plugs are not doing! If they did what you
are talking about, then when activated, the track they are being used on
should not change timing wrt the rest of the tracks...But they *do* change
the timing (at least in LAMP)! When I insert a
spectral plug (or autotune) there is suddenly a delay on that track which
needs to have *manually* set delay compensation....i.e. I do it by ear. :-(
So you are right, but I don't have to imagine it...it *is* a mess.
