If they did what you are talking about, then when activated, the track they are being used on should not change timing wrt the rest of the tracks...But they *do* change the timing (at least in LAMP)! When I insert a spectral plug (or autotune) there is suddenly a delay on that track which needs to have *manually* set delay compensation....i.e. I do it by ear. :-( So you are right, but I don't have to imagine it...it *is* a mess. -Dan
