Subject: [LAW] Rocke4t Control Problem
Message #98255
Greetings, I cannot get Logic to work with Rocket Control.... WinXP Pro OS LAWP v4.8.1 Gigabyte 7DXR mobo 512 MB DDR2100 Ram nVidia G-Force 2 MX 400 Vid card MOTU 2408 audio interface Just wondering if WinXP/Logic v4.81/Rocket works for anyone else. When I attempt to start Rocket via Logic, I get an error pop up that reads: Rocket v2.3 not installed (current version is 2.5).... I have the old install for v2.3...re-installed and Logic still cannot find it..... Tried to click on the support button on v2.3 (running as stand alone program) and it will not connect because Rocket will not work with versions prior to 2.5....so... ....installed Rocket v2.5 and tried to run as stand alone program to utilize the support button...it will not run as stand alone....says that it can only be run from another app as in Logic....which is not seeing the v2.5.....catch 22! Any ideas?? Anyone getting Rocket to work with XP and Logic?? Thanks, Biff Please email directly to: biffbo@...

But that isn't as restricting as it sounds. You can now do a web-login to administer your account, see who's online, send and receive messages, access the support pages etc. Just go here https://prod.rocketnetwork.com/main/index?view=login&template=login.html &branding=MC and log in. [RC 2.3 is no longer functional] The support docs only state that Win2k works, but AFAIK XP is fine. Try deinstalling any rocket components you can find, and run the installer again, so all the bits go in the right places. Dave Eager
