Hi, When I want to record through my audiowerk card while listening to playback(even if only one stereo track) I get heaps of digital cracks and pops(?clipping). It is not as bad during monitoring but always present. However during recording, it is chronic and the playback flutters in and out unacceptably. Why is this? I thought this combo of LAP and audiowerk would deliver clear playback while recording even on my system. My system is a PC 300(cyrix), 64MB, win95, partitioned 5.5GB Fireball, audiowerk 8. This is an important question foor me in general too b/c my friend want sto knwo whether LAP can give him full duplex with a Creative Soundblaster Live value card. At the moment I am reluctant to reassure him. Although I am real keen on the software. What are other peoples opinions on LAP and full-duplex?
