I wrote that I was getting between 700 and 1000 samples latency. I
was also experiencing some other problems that were driving me up the
walls. So I did the old mac vodoo I trashed the digiinit prefs
zapped the PRAM and rebuilt my desktop.
Lo and behold now I am am getting a quite acceptable 200 samples of
latency between the M1 drum and the VSTis running under DirectTDM via
the e-magic system bridge.
That is the first time that particular remedy has had such a dramatic
effect for me.
I also haven't had a PCI too slow message for a whole two hours. Hurray!!!!
Glad you fixed it - I was wondering what was causing the long
delay in your system even at a low buffer setting.
How often do you have to delete prefs and rebuild the desktop for
your hardware synths? Same here - never. Gotta love
computers.
