If you read the license that you agreed to when you bought Logic, you bought a license to use them. You didn't buy them. They do own them. Of course they have no use for them, but they do keep unscrupulous folk from selling an older version when they get the new one by collecting them. This leads to increased sales, and LOWER upgrade pricing for everyone. Besides the fact that selling an old version is completely illegal. I am so tired of all the griping and whining and bitching and complaining going on about this. This is an inexpensive upgrade for a great product, that has a lot of new features, and has even more coming in upcoming updates (free updates!). Are there still some bugs, yes! Will they be addressed, YES! If you aren't happy, then don't upgrade, but please stop flooding all of the rest of us with hate mail. I am tired of hearing about it endlessly. I would rather talk about bugs, or features, or ideas, or ways to make things better. My suggestion to the moderators is to start a new list for people that just can't seem to let it go, so they can happily whine each other to death while the rest of us move on to more productive discussions. Sorry my friend, you are way too naive about this business. Lower upgrades aint gonna happen, because they get back the CDs and dongle. They are just protecting their future just like every company does. Don't believe a dealer or marketing man when he tells you this. > I am so tired of all the griping and whining and bitching and complaining > going on about this. People who just shut up, conform to what is being rammed down their throat. If a company can get away with something one time, they will do it again, and again and again. True the upgrade is very inexpensive. > Are there still some bugs, yes! Do you buy something that doesn't work properly? I bet if it's your car, you would take it back. > Will they be addressed, YES! I think it's very healthy to discuss problems, better than keep quiet about them. So the more I can hear about problems, the better. > My suggestion to the moderators is to start a new list for people that just > can't seem to let it go, so they can happily whine each other to death while > the rest of us move on to more productive discussions. I'm sorry, but I left a couple of times in the past because the list was starting to annoy me. You have that freedom too, you know. Good luck, Yoonchi.
