Subject: LAM: v.5 Optimization gains?
Message #98083
I'm curious about the impact of the new "optimisation for specific processor types and operating systems" in v.5 Is anyone using v.5 with a G4 and OS 9.x, and if so, is there a noticeable difference in the number of plugins you can run before ASIO overload? Thanks, Gregory

I would suggest waiting with your tests till this version, because we expect a _HUGE_ performance increase! Is it really not implemented yet? I did a quick spectral gate test with v5 with my AthlonXP 1800+ and I got a count of 36 - 11 more than I got with 4.81.
