Exploring Logic 4.8.1 and am very confused: Edited in some notes via matrix edit (no external controllers or devices listening to anything) and set Battery and VB-1 to play a track each. They are entirely out of sync! Tried with soundmanager and then my Audiosport Quattro (USB audio interface) ASIO drivers - nothing. Also tried with USB interface turned off. Is this a VSTi problem, driver problem, or my incompetence with Logic?! I quantised to 4/4 and as well as trying LM-4 instead Battery. The delay varies. On one reboot (using Audiosport driver) timing was right, I 'rewinded' and poof - gone. Also, some of the samples in LM-4 and Battery (often hihat for BOTH drum samplers!!!) cease playing randomly. I have trashed everything Logic and re- installed once. Any suggestions very welcome! Cheers, Slice
