The alias assignments always seem to get messed up. Perhaps the drag and drop method you are using is related to this long standing bug alias copy-importing bug. As an alternative, perhaps you can try not importing the aliases, but recreate them instead inside the new song. -- Eli Krantzberg Nightshift Orchestra / Almat Productions http://www.nightshiftorchestra.com

This is a reply to #98065.
Hi Eli, I suspect that you are right regarding the aliases. Following my post, I dragged each folder over seperately and re-created the aliases without problem. As with most of these "glitches" there's usually a workaround. When I get home, I'll do some further investigations to see if I can find out whether it's dragging the multiple folders, or the aliases causing the crash. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eli Krantzberg" <elik@...> To: "Logic-users" <logic-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, March 01, 2002 12:51 PM Subject: [LUG] Re: LAMP 5.0 Reproduceable Bug? > Don't know about v.5 yet, but historically, Logic has always exhibited > unusual and inconsistent behaviour for me when aliases are involved in > importing from one song to another.
