Subject: Muted Sequences (Yes, again, a plea to Emagic)
Message #7385
Ok folks, lately I got pretty much annoyed (no, actually I really got pissed) about the muted sequences symbol again. I'm pretty much sure that this applies to almost everyone (Windows users are even more affected since Mac people still have the half-dotted symbol). If you ask me the asterisk is the worst idea ever to indicate muted sequences. On higher screen resolutions, especially when using colors, they are barely visible at all. It almost looks as if they hired a blinded guy to program that feature in Braille or whatever (no offense meant, but Logic defenitely is a visually oriented program). If you ask me, this is a VERY important thing. For me it slows down working speed pretty much in many situations and I guess this is true for many people. Even if this feature might be buried very deep in Logics code it doesn't mean that Emagic doesn't have to change this at all since it's almost a major "bug" (at least it affects my way of working quite a bit more then many bugs). I would like as many people as possible to add their "I agree" in reply to this mail, perhaps Emagic will react one day then. If this means too much traffic, reply to me personally, I will then send this plea to Emagic. Thanks, Sascha
