Yeah, this is a gripe of mine too. Actually, I'd be happier if the channels
grew to the top, so the faders stay in position. But what would be really
nice is a global environment variable to show/hide individual mixer
elements:inputs, outputs, sends, eqs, etc. (Or put little finder triangles
on the channel strips.) Then you could open them up to adjust them, and
close them back down to see the faders.
It would also be nice to have an audio object view with simple text
displays, or compact knobs, designed to take up less screen estate.....
It's a thought.
For now, I have my first 16 channels on a different environment layer from
the second 16. But I can't see all at once, without two windows. And the
faders creep off the bottom either way.
