It would have to change, wouldn't it? As the OS now takes control of
dividing tasks, and scheduling priorites.

I think you a re wrong here Jon. The OS takes control over deviding it's
own tasks, but not for the applications tasks AFAIK...
Could anyone who _knows_ about this comment this please?

This is exactly the way it works. "The OS takes control over dividing
it's
own tasks, but not for the applications" I just don't know the whole
science
behind it. I believe it has to do with multithreading for dual processors in
applications. I believe Mac users will see dual processing aware
applications as standard in the near future, as apple dual processor
machines are standard computers on apple's product line. For the pc
community I expect it will take longer.

I think you a re wrong here Jon. The OS takes control over deviding it's
own tasks, but not for the applications tasks AFAIK...
