If Emagic, like hundreds of companies today, provided online sales and upgrades, this would : 1. lower the upgrade prices (for people who would choose the download-only version, like I would for sure) 2. accelerate the delivery (so that cracked versions wouldn't be available on the net... BEFORE the official packages arrive at last in some countries like France) 3. lower the planet's pollution (less paper, plastic, kerosene for planes...), which seems to be a preoccupation of the Emagic team (remember the recyclable Logic boxes that were used for the first versions) Logical consequence, at least of the first two points : less people would search the net for pirated versions.
