just to throw in my 2 cents- 1- I hope we are jumping the gun-like someone said earlier, the 3.0 upgrade was half the price as 4.0 and came with a new manual. So I'd like to hear directly from Emagic on this.until then I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. BUT 2-if it is indeed the case, I'd be pissed.- Emagic is making a habit out of inconveniencing it's registered, legal users to supposedly stump hackers. (dongle, usb floppy drive for installs, no pdf manual.) I paid in full for my LAMP and for the upgrade too (as all of us did I assume) and I don't care if other people got theirs for free. Emagic- don't worry about pissing off hackers, worry about pissing off us! If paying more for the 4.0 manual is what the case is I'll buy it and spend a day scanning it and e-mail it to anyone who wants it. It seems like Emagic, in general, prefers us to handle our problems ourselves anyway . Think about it -this list(have you ever called tech support)- environments(guess where they come from).
