Last night I went to see a friend's band play at a club, and the club had charged them $30 to have a soundcheck! But Emagic is right up there on the innovative fleecing front with the manual. > The 79 DM for unregistered users is great for the people who > have an illegal copy of Logic (which works flawlessly BTW). After all, manual access alone has been sufficient copy-protection for many software packages for years. People "demo" it, and then when they really get serious, they buy the software, essentially just for the manual. Emagic's stand on this seems completely bass-ackwards..... And yes, oddly pirate-friendly. Oh well, I wouldn't want to run a music software company. What can I say. later Eric Moon And dog Temiqui Temiqui Music, LA
