Once again my dongle didn't work. There was no way for me to
de-configure my com port, and once again, after climbing into the rack
and taking the computer out the dongle just starts to work for no
apparent reason. I just don't understand. I scanned for it, nothing.
Then shut down the computer, reboot, and then reinstall and it works
fine. I just don't understand, why?
I mean nothing had changed the box hadn't moved, and the dongle didn't
work, and then did. I am just getting frustrated of dealing with the
copy protection stuff. I paid $560 US for the software, and for that I
shouldn't have to deal with problems with copy protection.
Copy protection is meant to deal with the piraters, and not me and all
other legal users of this software. I might be smarter for me to get a
hacked version, then I wouldn't have to worry about dongle, or cd
protection or whatever else emagic has in store.
BTW, I am just griping b/c I am tired of messing with the
reauthorizations and dongles. I still really love the software, I just
wish it was easier for me to startup and use.

So far ALL dongle-related problems I've ever seen are because of a
faulty com-port on the motherboard.
