I'm putting together a mobile studio using LAWG, Aw8 running ASIO mode on a mini tower P3. I have a berenger eurorack 8 channel mixer with AW8 hooked up to the 2 channel tape ins and outs. Mixer has no subs mix channels. LA is working perfectly. There are no other sound cards in the PC at this point. What I need to do is have a click track. I have tried to set up Virtual Synths to do the job because the click needs to come back to the board through the 2 output channels of the Aw8 for recording input monitoring. Is this possible? From what I have read, it is unclear if one needs a soundblaster or the like to use a vsynth. If so can that signal (for the click track) be internally routed through the AW8? Additionaqlly, how would one select the driver for the click to use the vsynth and the Aw8? Any help is appreciated. I'm an acoustic guy mostly so the midi and synth stuff is an area I am not really familiar with. Thanks!! Ernie
