Subject: GEN How do I enter RPN/NRPN value?
Message #75990
Sorry for asking twice. But it seems that my first try is forgotten. :) I know that it's possible in Event List, but I don't see RPN/NRPN icon in event list. There's only Control icon, which isn't RPN/NRPN?? Please someone tell me how I should go about doing it. I need to change pitch bend range.

hanc0, sorry I didn't have time to look it before now. anyhow, you can insert new events to the event list by using the pencil tool and clicking on the appropriate symbol in the event list. the controllers' symbol is the one that looks like a modulation wheel with a hand on the bottom side of it. after this you can select which controller you want to have there by click-holding on the 'Num' value. this will open up a list of all *registered* parameters. [this info can be found in the manual; p. 10-3 ff] hth, Björn Elfström ----- Original Message ----- From: <hanc0@...> To: <logic-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Sunday, September 02, 2001 2:11 PM Subject: [LUG] GEN How do I enter RPN/NRPN value? > Sorry for asking twice. Thanks I've tried enterting controller 100, 101, and 6 (for pitch bend range change), (100=0, 101=0, 6=from 1-24) and it doesn't seem to work. Do you know why? --- In logic-users@y..., "Bjorn Elfstrom" <bjorn@a...> wrote: > hanc0, > > sorry I didn't have time to look it before now. anyhow, you can insert new > events to the event list by using the pencil tool and clicking on the > appropriate symbol in the event list. the controllers' symbol is the one > that looks like a modulation wheel with a hand on the bottom side of it. > after this you can select which controller you want to have there by > click-holding on the 'Num' value. this will open up a list of all > *registered* parameters. > > [this info can be found in the manual; p. 10-3 ff] > > hth, > > Bj?n Elfstr? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <hanc0@k...> > To: <logic-users@y...> > Sent: Sunday, September 02, 2001 2:11 PM > Subject: [LUG] GEN How do I enter RPN/NRPN value? > > > > Sorry for asking twice. Just create a sysex fader and copy the event list you wanna send into the fader event list, [which would be 100 and 101 defining the RPN and also CC#6 for the data entry] making sure the data CC# is selected whan you close the window, as whichever event is selected is what the fader effects when you move it.
