Subject: LAWP: Cool Tip for Audioinst users
Message #69913
Hey LUG, You guys may know this already....I like to use features on the track's lower set of parameters, especially the track's delay definition. When you have a patch with a slow attack, like strings, you can set a negative delay there, and when it plays back, that will make it play ahead to make up for the slow attack. You don't have that feature with audio instruments. Check this out: You can cable a midi instrument to that audio instrument, and then use the midi intrument in the arrange window, then you have all those definition parameters that a regular midi instrument has, including that track delay. I wonder if there's any downside to doing that. Anyone know? this is kewl, df
