Subject: [LAW] VSTi Automation
Message #69821
I am sure this has probably already been discussed but does anyone know if it is possible to automate knobs within a VSTi such as the Pro52? I have read the manual but it doesn't seem to mention anything besides general mixer automation, and effects automation. I tried to automate the VSTi as I would an effects plugin but to no avail. Any suggestions? Mike

Afaik, the Pro52 doesn't automate well in Logic. to automate it, put it in "control" view instead of the grafical editor. Cable your VSTi channels to a channel splitter just like you did for audio channels. Then select such a channel splitter in the arrangement and record the movements on it. I think this should work.
