Subject: LAWP: Direct X FX compatability
Message #69810
One of our producers has an affinity to the Sonic Foundry direct X EQ It causes huge problems when he uses it with Logic. Are there any tweaks that can make it run easier on the CPU or in some cases at all? Is this a general Direct X issue that might be fixed in V 5.0? I am running Direct X v 7.0

I seem to remember that Sonic Foundry must have DX 8 to run. Unfortunately Logic (and most of the competition) doesn´t work well with this at the moment. Sonic Foundry's most recent version of Vegas Video require DirectX 8.0 (don't know about Vegas Audio). Hope this helps. Ted Fiebke,RN emailto:efiebke@... http://www.toolivenurse.com
