Hi there! At the moment I'm trying to get everything out of my SW1000XG, but I see no way how it ever might be possible with Logic without recording stuff into a track! I tried to do things in the environment and it works fine, just until you try to recall settings the next time you start your song! You obviously can't just send all Fader-Values (seems to crash Logic anyway) so you would have to record faders into Logic. This makes it hard to change settings.... So I'm using XG-Wizard at the moment. It has almost the same features as XG-Edit, but you can see all 32 tracks and Audiotracks at the same time and you can fully edit the drumsets. You should really check out this program, was also reviewed in the last Sound on Sound Issue. The only way it could work out in Logic would be some "plug-in"-feature in my opinion, like they do it in XG-Works and in Cakewalk, would that be possible? cheers Uwe!
