Subject: LAWP w/ MIDI loopback..
Message #6244
I've recently switched over to LAWP from Cakewalk Pro Audio .. I've got everything up and running now, except for one thing.. my MIDI loopback drivers (Hubi or Midiyoke) don't seem to work properly. I set up a channel in Logic to use the loopback driver, and my softsynth (SimSynth) to receive on that channel. If I watch the softsynth's receive, I notice it doesn't receive any midi information until I press a key on my controller. Unfortunately, after that initial keypress, Logic seems to keep sending MIDI information to the point where Midiyoke shuts down its port because of midi feedback. The same set up works fine in Cakewalk, unfortunately. I don't really know where the feedback is coming from, there shouldn't be any, and I don't know why Logic is sending more to the softsynth than just simple note on/off messages. Can anyone help? Thanks, wolfe@...
