When I change the length of an event in the Matrix, I can see the length of the event change in the space above the ruler in the Matrix window; I would like to be able to see the absolute position of the event change, not just the length of the event. View Length As Absolute Position is available in the Event list, but not in the Matrix, and I would find it useful in the Matrix as well. At present, I use the Event Float for this. As for the actual SMPTE position of an event and its apparent position against the SMPTE time ruler, perhaps I'm missing something. I am using LAMP 4.04, and there is a difference between the actual position of an event, and its apparent position against the SMPTE Time Ruler. This difference is also evident also in the position of the SPL..ie using the transport window to position the SPL at 01:18:00:00 does not position the SPL at 01:18:00:00 on the SMPTE Time Ruler. Thanks for your response... Patrick >
