But someone who responded to my question on this list said that the latency using the ASIO driver was pretty bad and that he had to monitor direct from the board when recording. This is OK I suppose except that if you reach the point where you want the portablilty of a laptop for doing casual types of work, having to lug around a mixing board just to be able to monitor might kind of spoil it. How do you set yours up? Do you use ASIO or sound manager and how is the Latency?
