I wouldn't compare the 001 to an imac - the imac is stripped down to keep the cost down and still can be used for high-end work in many fields. The 001 is missing software features that would cost digi nothing to add, and are only missing because digi wants to intentionally keep "professionals" (whatever that means) from buying it (under the assumption that they will get TDM systems instead). Digi COULD offer the additional features as a software upgrade, but they won't. So anyone have any recommendations for good alternatives to the 001?
