I'm trying to sync Logic with Acid using Hubi's Loopback Device and
am running into problems. With MTC the tempo in Logic flucuates
wildly. With Midi Clock Logic plays for a few bars and stops.
How do you get Logic to slave?

I just put it in SMPTE sync mode and go. My MTC source is the SY-88 card
in a DA-88.

Hey,
I tried a non-legit version of Acid last year with Hubi's
midi loopback trying to sync to Logic, and it was very frustrating. I
was using Logic as the master, and Acid sync to the loopback with MTC,
it was always out of sync 9 times out of 10. Then I tried midi clock,
and that was always about 15 frames or so out. What a pain in the ass
it was.
Finally I just used Acid to get a bunch of perspective loops for a
song at the same tempo, and then exported those files at that new
tempo so that I could just lay them in Logic, and not worry about
syncing the two programs together, it's not worth the trouble...
That's how I got around that,
