Hey Keith, I guess that approach ( if I understand it) would need for you to
record note info on the cable switcher track ( after you check the icon box
and cable it by pressing option(Mac) so as to route it to a multi-instrument
sub channel), then it would be routed to the correct instrument. But that
doesn't seem nearly as cool as putting the switcher/delay in line before the
sequencer input. That way, the midi delay effect would be recorded in your
sequence and you could turn it on and off at will. It would also be in
effect for any selected device, so you wouldn't have to repatch if you
change channels/synths. If one really wanted to go sick, one might patch in
a button to turn the delay on and off, and set it's in definition as , say,
C7, so one could automate the effect whilst one played. Lets
see...Logic..Performer..Logic ..Perfomer. I'll have to go with Logic, I
think it's...um..better. Later, Dave
